Through teaching, one is able to penetrate a given subject quite deeply. For some, this formation is supplemented by having the opportunity to teach. Each of us has a formation in a given field that makes us something of an expert in that field. The first level is simply what I and any author is able to bring to the book from the knowledge that he has accumulated in the whole of his life.
